State Representative Steve Frisbie has announced a series of community engagement events for the residents of Calhoun County. On Thursday, July 25, Rep. Frisbie will host office hours and a special townhall dedicated to veterans.
Residents are invited to attend in-district office hours where they can discuss state issues and share their priorities with Rep. Frisbie. The sessions will take place at Stirling Books and Brew in Albion from 9:00 to 10:30 AM, followed by another session at Coney Island in Battle Creek from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.
In the evening, Rep. Frisbie will join State Representative Ron Robinson for a Veterans Townhall at Kingdom Builders Worldwide in Battle Creek from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. The townhall will focus on matters affecting local veterans and military families.
Rep. Robinson, who is an Army veteran and chairs the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military and Veterans Affairs, will lead the discussion. "I’m proud to partner with Rep. Ron Robinson, a decorated veteran and a strong advocate for those who served our country," said Rep. Frisbie. "We want to hear directly from the community—especially our veterans—about the challenges they face and the opportunities they see for our region."
The events are open to everyone without requiring an RSVP.
