YARD WASTE COLLECTIONYard waste shall be collected during the first FULL week of each month, weather permitting, according to the following policies:1. All materials for collection shall be placed at the edge of the street no later than 7:00 am of the Monday morning of the collection week.
2. Yard waste eligible for collection shall include:Grass Clippings Tree LimbsBranches Garden Clippings
3. Materials ineligible for collection shall include:Blacktop Stumps Concrete NO PLASTIC BAGSBricks Lumber Dirt & StonesHazardous or Contaminated Materials
4. All eligible materials shall be placed in biodegradable paper bags, bundles or labeled containers with a maximum of 50 lbs. per unit. The maximum limit is 10 units, per residence, per pick up. Leaves may be left loose for collection in the fall. Tree limbs and brush must be cut to lengths not exceeding 5 feet and cannot exceed 6 inches in circumference.
The DPW will collect as time allows. This could take several weeks! The brush pile is open for all village residents!
