Annual State of the Community set for Jan. 27 | Free CCO Credit
Join local government leaders from across Calhoun County for a State of the Community address at 9 a.m. next Friday, Jan. 27.
Leaders will gather virtually, via Zoom, and neighbors can watch the event live on the City of Battle Creek YouTube channel, youtube.com/cityofbattlecreekmichigan. This is a free and public event. We encourage everyone to watch live, or afterward at your convenience.
Leaders from Calhoun County, and the Cities of Albion, Battle Creek, Marshall, and Springfield, will update the community about work and successes in 2022, as well as a look ahead at what they expect in 2023.
If you have questions for our leaders, you can submit them online – find the quick form on the City of Battle Creek home page, battlecreekmi.gov. Scroll to City Spotlight for the link. The direct link to the question form is https://forms.gle/NEvtMbDvXzqPdazz7
We will answer as many questions as possible during the event, and provide additional information afterward if needed.
Confirmed speakers are:
° Albion City Manager Haley Snyder
° Battle Creek City Manager Rebecca Fleury
° Marshall City Manager Derek Perry
° Springfield City Manager Vester Davis Jr.
° Calhoun County Administrator/Controller Kelli Scott.
Please join us to celebrate our successes as local governments and a broader community, continued teamwork on a variety of projects, and our plans to keep providing top customer service this year.
