BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Full Blast Recreation Center will transition to its fall/winter schedule, with Labor Day next Monday, Sept. 5.
The last day for the community to enjoy the 2022 season at Flash Flood Water Park is Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 5, from 11 a.m.-7 p.m.
Flash Flood will still host the 2022 Puppy Plunge on Saturday, Sept. 10. To sign up, visit recreation.bcparks.org and click “Register Now!” on the left side of the homepage.
Full Blast and the fitness center will be closed Thursday, Sept. 1 through Monday, Sept. 5 for gym floor refinishing and the Labor Day holiday. Upon reopening on Tuesday, Sept. 6, winter hours will be in effect, as follows: 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends.
The last day for the Wet Safari Splash Pad at Claude Evans Park will also be Monday, Sept. 5.

Battle Creek Transit buses and vans do not run on Labor Day, and regular schedules will resume Tuesday, Sept. 6. Republic Services is also closed on Labor Day, resulting in all garbage, recycling, and yard waste curbside pickup being delayed by one day next week.
