Engine 2 immediately placed a ladder to the second floor and found the homeowner unresponsive; they rescued her out the window and down the extension ladder. Truck 1 arrived to handle fire control to aid in the rescue. Truck 1 performed a primary search on the first floor, while Squad 2 arrived to search the second floor. Rescue 3 provided a water supply and then rode to the hospital to provide EMS to the rescued homeowner. Engine 5 was assigned to the Rapid Intervention Crew initially, and then provided additional support to the search teams.
