Homer Community School District issued the following announcement on July 30.
The Homer FFA is looking for students and parents from Homer to represent the FFA program at the Miracle of Life Tent at the Calhoun County Fair. Responsibilities include watching over the animals in the tent and ensuring their safety and visitors coming thru, answering basic questions about the animal (info is usually posted) and maintaining order and tidiness of the tent. We suggest signing up for (1-2) 3 hour shifts. Homer FFA is responsible for Sunday 8/15 and Saturday 8/21 from 9am-9pm. Once signed up if you’ll message Krystal Day at 269-317-8675 she can fill you in on any details.
