Census Bureau: 77 percent of people in Calhoun County were old enough to vote in 2019

Of the 134,212 citizens living in Calhoun County in 2019, 103,329 were old enough to vote as of Jan. 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 53,542 of those people were female and 49,787 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
