City of Battle Creek issued the following announcement on Aug. 30
We've got some closures and services changes to tell you about for the upcoming week --
Today through Monday, Full Blast facilities are CLOSED for annual maintenance and gym floor resurfacing. Summer hours resume Tuesday, Sept. 3 through the rest of this month.
This is the final weekend of the season for Flash Flood Water Park! Hours Saturday-Monday are noon to 6 p.m. Buy one admission, get one admission half off, and there will be discounted concessions.
City offices are CLOSED Monday, Sept. 2 for Labor Day. Battle Creek Transit buses and Tele-Transit will not run that day, nor will Waste Management. Expect a one-day delay for trash/recycling/yard waste pickup the rest of the week.
Some city facilities will close from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. next Thursday, Sept. 5, so our team can enjoy our annual picnic. Those are City Hall, Public Works, Transit offices (buses will be running), and Records at the Battle Creek Police Department.
