City of Marshall issued the following announcement on Sept 16.

Oakridge Cemetery Grave Decoration Removal and Placement
All decorations, including artificial, must be in pots or NON-GLASS containers above the ground. The City of Marshall Public Works staff will begin Cemetery Decoration removal on September 28, 2021. Owners who wish to retain lot decorations whether on the marker, in the urns, or on the ground are asked to remove them prior to September 28, 2021 or they will be removed and disposed of. Decorations will be removed and disposed of that are not in conformance with Cemetery Policies through-out the year. Decorations may not be tied to trees or shrubs. In addition, staff will be trimming trees and shrubs all year long. Cemetery Policies are on line at www.cityofmarshall.com or you may call 269-781-3985 and request a copy of them. Winter decorations may be placed on the lots beginning October 4, 2021.
