BATTLE CREEK CHAMBER: KCC transitions to online instruction due to surge in COVID-19 cases in Calhoun County

Battle Creek Chamber issued the following announcement on Oct. 5.

KCC Campus buildings in Albion, Battle Creek, Coldwater and Hastings will remain open for students and employees, but most classes will be delivered online to reduce the number of people interacting on campus at any given time.

Calhoun County's COVID-19 numbers have been rising in recent weeks. As of Oct. 1, 6.1% of those tested for the virus in Calhoun County tested positive, according to state data. This is the highest positivity rate the county has seen since June.
