BCCHS Career Academies Scholars!
In recognition of the skills and knowledge developed by scholars who fully engage with BCCHS Career Academies, BCPS provides an opportunity to earn a Career Academies endorsement. Earning a Career Academies endorsement demonstrates to colleges and future employers that the scholar has mastered 21st Century employability skills. Scholars who do not complete these components will still be eligible to graduate, but will not receive the additional recognition.
Below are the four components scholars must fully engage with in order to earn a Career Academies Endorsement.
1. Student Digital Portfolio
2. Career Academies Programming
3. Internship
4. Pathway Related Courses
