Battle Creek Central High School issued the following announcement on July 03.

We are pleased to announce that meal pickups will continue to be available through Wednesday, August 12. Check below for an updated list of times and locations.

Meal pickups will continue on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays through Wednesday, August 12 at the locations listed below. Meal pickup will be closed on Friday, July 3 and Monday, July 6 due to the holiday weekend.

SCHOOL LOCATIONS

Meals will be available at all BCPS elementary schools and Battle Creek Central High School from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Wednesday, August 12:

• Ann J. Kellogg Elementary School: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 306 Champion Street
• Dudley STEM Elementary: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 308 West Roosevelt Avenue
• Fremont International Academy: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 115 East Emmett Street
• LaMora Park Elementary: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 65 North Woodlawn Avenue
• Post-Franklin Elementary: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 20 Newark Avenue
• Valley View Elementary: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 960 Avenue A
• Verona Elementary: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 825 Capital Avenue NE
• Battle Creek Central High School: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. | 100 West Van Buren Street

Additional pickups are also available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday through Wednesday, August 12 (with exceptions noted) at the following times and locations — please note the specific time window for your desired pickup location as they vary by location. Buses will be parked at these locations, handing out meal packs:

• Washington Heights United Methodist Church: 11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. | 153 N Wood St N
• Salvation Army Community Center Parking Lot: 11:50 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. | 400 Capital Ave NE

• Kingdom Builders Worldwide (Old South Hill Academy): 12:30-1pm | 50 Spencer St
• New Level Sports Ministries (July 13 - August 12 only): 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. | 400 W Michigan Ave
• Overcomers Christian Center (July 8 - July 27 only): Breakfast - 8:15 a.m., Lunch - 11:15 a.m.

Please note, meal packs are for pickup only (food will not be served on location) and include breakfasts and lunches, with enough meals to last until the next available pickup. Families may pick up at any location convenient to them, and they are offered at all elementary schools, BCCHS and various locations throughout the community. Meal pickup is open to anyone with children under 18 years old or any person with special needs under age 26. You do not need to be enrolled in BCPS to receive free meals and children/special needs individuals do not need to be present for a parent or guardian to pick up their meals — although we do miss them and love getting to see their smiling faces!
