There were 1,988 multiracial students enrolled in Calhoun County districts in the 2022-23 school year, 5.4% more than the previous year, according to the Michigan Department of Education.

Data showed that Calhoun County welcomed 19,483 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 10.2% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the county districts.

Among the 15 districts in Calhoun County, Battle Creek Public Schools recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 597 students.
