UM-Flint welcomes back students with Maize & Blue Days Winter 2023

Flint

The University of Michigan-Flint is offering renewed opportunities for students to come together and connect with the winter edition of Maize & Blue Days.

Traditionally the series of events is part of the university's welcoming programs each fall, but this academic year  Maize & Blue Days is expanding to January. Students can expect high energy programming to kick off the winter semester, said Chris DeEulis, associate director of Student Involvement & Leadership.

"These programs will offer students the opportunity to connect with each other and campus resources," DeEulis said. "We'll also just have some fun. The trip down to Ann Arbor to cheer on U-M against Michigan State for the women's basketball game is a great example of the entertainment and experiences that are sometimes tricky for a student to plan on their own. The overall goal is to provide students with opportunities to make friends, enjoy themselves and start the semester on a positive note."
