City Bus Passes Available to Families on Bus Waitlist

Greetings BCPS Families,

We wanted to share a quick update for families who may still be struggling with getting their students to school due to the ongoing bus driver shortage we are experiencing. Recently, the BCPS Board of Education approved the purchase of city bus passes in response to the shortage. These passes are best for middle and high school students and are available for families who are on the busing waitlist and would like an alternative option for getting their students to school.

To request bus passes, or if you have questions, please reach out to your student’s school office.

To find the office number for your student's school, click here and select the school.

Additionally, our partners at Dean Transportation are still seeking applications for bus drivers to help meet the needs of our families currently on the waitlist. If you or someone you know may be interested in picking up some hours driving students to and from school, please visit battlecreekpublicschools.org/jobs to learn more and apply.
