ATTENTION: On July 6, 2022, the City's Gateway Connector stopped working

ATTENTION: On July 6, 2022, the City's Gateway Connector stopped working. The Gateway Connector helps collect water reads from the meters multiple times a day. Since the Gateway is not collecting reads, we are not able to see how much water is being used.

Unfortunately, the part needed is now obsolete, which is why we have started the transition to cellular endpoints. At this time, we only have approximately 50 cellular endpoints installed. This means that for the majority of the city we will have to estimate water reads until further notice. If you would like to manually read your meter and call it into the City Office, you will receive a bill based on your actual read. If you do not submit your read, your monthly bill will be estimated based on the last 6 months of water usage.

Water reads must be submitted to the City Office by the last day of each month. Because water bills are being estimated, once the new endpoints are installed and your water meter is read with an actual read there may be an adjustment on a future bill. If you have any questions, please contact the Litchfield City Office at 517-542-2921.
