City of Litchfield recently issued the following announcement.
Citizens of Litchfield, we have recently been informed from Consumers Energy that there will be a brief outage for one hour at approximately 10pm this evening.
While restoration efforts are still being made, those customers that currently have electrical service will see this interruption due to repairs at the area sub-stations.
This is in part due to the damage that occurred as part of the storm that we saw last week.
This repair is necessary to help ensure long term service reliability. Again, we understand your frustration with this power outage and hope this repair is completed in a timely manner to provide us all electricity again.
Hopefully tomorrow storm event will be well behind us.
