Battle Creek Public Schools issued the following announcement on July 31.
This summer, students in the Ann J. Kellogg 21st Century summer program had a blast learning about how to G.L.O.W., which stands for Grit, Leadership, Opportunity, and Win!
Throughout the summer, students got to participate in activities like the Gilmore Club, Outdoor Education Center, Girl Scouts (GLOW Scouts), the Air Zoo and Starbase. Students also had the opportunity to participate in arts and crafts, drumming, and other virtual STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) activities.
