BCPS families with students in need of a desk to support at-home learning can pick one up for free this week at Urbandale Elementary during the following times:
- Thursday, September 17: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Saturday, September 19: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Desks and desk and chair combinations are available in a variety of shapes and sizes but quantities are limited. The chairs and/or desks will be yours to keep and will be offered in “as-is” condition on a first-come-first-served basis. Item pickup will be available at the back of the Urbandale Elementary building and traffic should enter through the parking lot on Oakley Street. We will have volunteers available to help load the desks and chairs into vehicles but are unable to offer delivery at this time.
