Sets Of Grade-Level Books and Supporting Activities Mailed To Students’ Homes

Project Description:

On April 2, 2020, Michigan’s Governor, Gretchen Whitmer, signed Executive Order 2020-35, which ordered all Michigan K-12 schools to close for the remainder of the 19-20 school year due to the COVID-19 emergency. As a part of this order, all schools are required to create a Continuity Of Learning plan, outlining how the school will continue to provide educational support for students during the school closure. Part of Battle Creek Public Schools’ plan is to provide all of its PreK thru 12th grade students with books and supporting activities to promote literacy at home. Battle Creek Public Schools is seeking bids from vendors for the purchase of grade-level books with activities aligned to each book. The bid must also include services for mailing the books and activities directly to the homes

of the district's students.
