On Saturday, March 14, the Lander Bearcats, with former Lakeview High School standout Tommy Moore on the roster, secured a 76-71 victory over the Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.
The contest, held at Finis Horne Arena at 2:30 p.m., marked the Bearcats’ first meeting against the Railsplitters during this tournament.
Lander is scheduled to play its next game on Sunday, March 15 at 5 p.m. at Abney Athletic Center.
