Favorite Book Feature: Charlie Fulbright, BCPS Board of Education Trustee
Trustee Fulbright's favorite book is “Why We March” by Artisan.
"This book does not have a lot of words. It is mostly photos and quotes of women. I like this book especially during the month of March because it spotlights the many voices of women. March is not only Reading Month, but also Women’s History Month. This book showcases positivity, hope, love, and diversity. When we can celebrate the love of reading through love and hope, we win!"
We'd love to feature some other favorites from students, families, and community members. To submit yours, email nhunt@battlecreekpublicschools.org and include:
- Name
- Grade/school, role/title, and/or organization name
- Name and author of your favorite book
- Brief explanation of why you love the book
- Be sure to include a photo with your book as well!
