Homer Community School District recently issued the following announcement.
Due to school closures from Feb. 2-4, Snocoming events have been rescheduled! At this time, we do not know if there will be a basketball game on Friday, Feb. 4th. However, regardless of whether or not the game is played, all Snocoming events will be postponed until next week. Please check out all of the details below!
Wednesday, February 9 - Red Carpet Day
- Dress up to be red carpet ready! "And the Oscar goes to..."
- LFE Families - Elementary students will celebrate "Work Out Wednesday" instead!
- Pick a state from the USA to showcase on this day!
- LFE Families - Elementary students will celebrate "Dress Wacky Thursday" instead!
- Show your Trojan Spirit! Go Orange!! Go Black!!
- High school students will have their Spirit Assembly in the afternoon to introduce the Snocoming Court and enjoy games!
- The Snocoming Prince and Princess will be crowned during the halftime of the February 11th Varsity Boys Basketball game against Reading.
- The HS Snocoming Dance will be held for any student in grades 9-12.
- Dance will be held in the MS Gym from 8 - 11 pm.
- All tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets will be available for purchase Monday - Wed at lunch next week. No tickets will be sold at the door.
