WENDEL MILLSTEAD WAS APPOINTED Chief of Police

City of Clio recently issued the following announcement.

WENDEL MILLSTEAD WAS APPOINTED Chief of Police by Mayor Bonnie Bare, approved by the City Commission, this evening of Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  

Chief Millstead retired from the City of Flint Police Department (1998 - 2012) at the rank Sergeant.  However, he most recently 

served with the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office (2012 - 2021). 

Chief Millstead also served with the Village of Holly Police Department (1988 - 1989) and the City of Lake Angelus Police Department (1987 - 1989).

Chief Millstead is a graduate of the Michigan State University School of Staff and Command and is nearing completion of an undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan – Flint.
