City of Battle Creek issued the following announcement on Sept 10.
Have you heard of the Flat Stanley project? We hosted Stanley Lambchop here in Battle Creek recently, a guest from Tennessee, and Charter Township of Bedford Supervisor Bill Scutt's grandson.
Mayor Behnke presented Flat Stanley with a certificate of recognition, and Supervisor Scutt will share this adventure - and some Battle Creek goodies - with Malachi, a second-grader. Hope you had a great time in Battle Creek, Stanley!!
