City of Battle Creek MI Government issued the following announcement on Nov. 29.
It's time again to start our Snowtifications - the winter tips and facts about snow operations to help us all enjoy as smooth a winter as possible.
First up - if you still have a basketball hoop in the street, please remove it ASAP (we have snow in the forecast this week). You may see a notice on your hoop asking you to move it, and we are not responsible if a snow plow damages your hoop.
We plow curb to curb, and hoops in the street - and trash containers, and parked cars - prevent us from doing that. Anything you can do to help during a snow event is greatly appreciated!
