City of Battle Creek MI Government issued the following announcement on July 24.
UPDATE -- This lane closure will be in place until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28.
The city’s sewer team will repair a storm inlet Monday, July 27, which requires a lane closure on West Michigan Avenue, just west of Van Buren Street.
The right lane will be closed, from approximately 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Please be alert for work in this area. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this and all work to maintain the city’s infrastructure.
