ALBION COLLEGE ATHLETICS: Coach May Named BCAM College Coach of the Year

Albion College Athletics issued the following announcement. on April 28.

The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan has named Coach Jody May their 2020 college coach of the year.

The Brits finished the season with a 21-5 record a 12-2 record against conference opponents. Coach May led Albion to their first outright MIAA championship since 2005. The Britons roster included two all-conference players, defensive player of the year, and an all-region player.

Joe and Julie Serra have given a $5 million leadership gift to launch a fundraising initiative to make two dreams a reality at Albion College. The first is a newly expanded fitness and student activity facility at the site of the current Dow Recreation and Wellness Center. The second is a new or renovated competition facility for the volleyball, men's basketball and women's basketball teams that currently call Kresge Gymnasium home.
