City of Battle Creek recently issued the following announcement.

This FREE passenger vehicle scrap tire collection is for those living within City of Battle Creek city limits only.
The event will end at 7 p.m., or when the trailers are full, whichever happens first.
* No commercial business tires or over-sized tires (like semi or tractor).
* Rims MUST be removed.
* No early drop-offs.
* No more than 10 tires per vehicle. Hauling more than 10 requires a State of Michigan scrap tire hauling registration.
