The Marshall Area Conservation Corps, in partnership with the City of Marshall, announced on Mar. 30 that it will hold its annual Greening of Marshall tree-planting event on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The event aims to plant 100 trees throughout the community to improve the urban environment and maintain the area’s landscape. Organizers say this initiative is intended to enhance both ecological quality and visual appeal for residents.

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate. The kick-off is scheduled for 9:00 a.m., with volunteers meeting at Stuart’s Landing on Homer Road just east of Marshall Avenue.

This effort reflects ongoing community involvement in local environmental stewardship projects. The annual tree planting has become a tradition aimed at supporting green spaces within Marshall.

For more information about participation or details regarding the event, organizers direct interested individuals to visit Ad-Visor & Chronicle.
