The City of Marshall announced on Mar. 9 that it will launch a new online payment system for municipal services beginning March 30, 2026.

The change is intended to provide residents with more convenient and modern options for paying taxes, utilities, and other city fees.

According to the announcement, the updated platform will allow users to pay online from any location at any time. Additional features include text-to-pay, digital wallet integration, and autopay options. Residents can also make in-person payments using secure devices at City Hall located at 323 W. Michigan Avenue in Marshall.

Residents will be able to re-register their accounts and update payment information, including autopay details, starting March 30. The city said guides and video instructions will be provided to help users navigate the new system.

The upgrade reflects ongoing efforts by local governments to improve access and efficiency in public services through technology. More information about the transition is expected as the launch date approaches.
