In the week ending Jan. 10, one gas station in Calhoun County sold premium gas at the lowest reported price of $3.43 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The average reported price of premium gas across the county was $3.96 per gallon.
Of the 82 reported gas stations located within Calhoun County, 43 offered premium gas.
The statewide average price of premium gas in Michigan was $3.90 per gallon for the week ending Jan. 10, an increase from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
