The Battle Creek Police Department has started its emergency vehicle operations (EVO) training at Bailey Park, beginning Monday, March 2. The training will continue through Thursday, March 5, with sessions scheduled in the mornings and some evenings.
According to the department, the EVO training will be held on Monday from 8 a.m. to noon and again from 6 to 10 p.m. On Tuesday and Thursday, the sessions will run from 8 a.m. to noon. On Wednesday, there will be both morning and evening sessions at the same times as Monday.
During these dates, all entrances to Bailey Park at 1392 Capital Ave. NE will be closed while the training is underway. However, neighbors can still access Home Run Dog Park using Wagner Drive.
This activity is part of the police department’s annual emergency vehicle operations training program.
