On Friday, Feb. 28, former Athens High School standout Hunter Pidek’s current college team, the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, lost 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the New Mexico State Aggies.

The game took place at Presley Askew Field. This was their first matchup against the Aggies this season.

The Golden Grizzlies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Presley Askew Field against New Mexico State Aggies.
